Leveraging Simulation for Data and Compute

Improved workflows merge HyperWorks, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), with HPC in the Altair One Cloud platform. This unified approach reduces design iterations, accelerates optimization processes, eliminates data silos, and provides seamless access to data and computing resources in a collaborative end-to-end environment.

“Having little to no experience with HPC, it was very beneficial to have a solution that took care of our system and needs so we could focus on our expertise in engineering. I’m pleased to say we saw significant cost savings of around 49%.”

Efficient End-to-End Simulation Workflows

Faster product development is possible with updated pre- and post-processing solutions for HyperMesh, Altair® Inspire™, Altair® SimLab®, and more. New to 2022.3, use Inspire Fluids to create, modify, and change the shape of parts or assemblies to meet thermal and hydraulic design objectives. Inspire now supports the Linux user interface and introduces a new set of geometry creation tools. Additionally, electronic system design improvements provide the means to perform battery module modeling and thermal analysis of complex electronic systems with greater speed and lower costs.

Simplified Multiphysics Access

Inspire Fluids simulates internal flows at the design stage, making it accessible to designers and engineers without the need for extensive CFD analysis expertise. Compatible with both GPU and CPU, users can observe fluid and thermal behavior earlier for faster, more informed product design cycles. Multibody systems simulation in Simulation 2022.3 also presents easier model setups, coordination of multiple model inputs and timing, and methods for rapidly organizing and comparing multiple analysis runs. Faster visualization, live animations for Altair® EDEM™ and Altair® AcuSolve® with Altair® MotionSolve® co-simulation runs, and dedicated workflows for vehicle modeling are also available with 2022.3 MotionView updates.
