Embracing Diversity
We believe that empowering each individual authentic voice encourages an entrepreneurial mindset. We’ve created a culture where our diversities and experiences are embraced and essential to our success.
Diversity Goal - Workplace
Create an environment where people feel safe and comfortable to bring their whole selves to the organization, where everyone can freely share different experiences, diverse perspectives, and fresh ways of thinking.
Meet Our Leaders
At Altair, we don’t just talk about diversity, we work tirelessly to achieve it. I don’t just mean gender diversity, but also religious, ethnic and cultural diversity. Since we founded Altair almost 40 years ago, I have worked alongside many leaders at Altair to create environments where brilliant people from all walks of life can exchange ideas and inspiration. It makes Altair a place where “a-ha” moments are born.
Jim Scapa, CEO
Meet Our Leaders
We have created a culture where diverse experiences, education, industries, and knowledge are embraced and essential to our long-term growth and success. For example, the success of our employee resource groups (ERGs) lies directly with their incredible members – their bold ideas and commitment spark change internally and externally.
Gilma Saravia, Chief People Officer
Employee Resource Groups
We are proud to offer employee resource groups (ERGs) that promote diversity and inclusion at Altair and within our communities, including:
Altair’s Black Employee Resource Network (ABERN)
Established to collaborate with allies in mentorship, outreach, and professional development opportunities within Altair while supporting recruitment and retention efforts of Black employees in Altair. ABERN is committed to engaging Altairians from around the world to support this goal.
Altair’s Women in Technology (WiT)
Develops and empowers women at Altair and amplifies their unique perspectives, ideas, and experiences to establish a more diverse, more inclusive workplace. We are committed to attracting top talent and ensuring every woman at Altair can reach her full potential. In 2024, WiT helped win the prestigious Brandon Hall Awards for HCM excellence in the diversity, equity, and inclusion category for best learning program that supports and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
We Have Altair Pride

These are just a few of the things Altair does incredibly well.”
