Pedro Garcia, global head of supply chain management, joined Nikola Corporation in March 2021 and has since held several leadership roles crucial for the product development and commercial strategy of the Nikola Tre BEV and FCEV platform. This includes senior director of FCEV, head of propulsion engineering, and global head of product development.
Prior to Nikola, Garcia worked for Meritor Inc., where he was responsible for the strategy and development of global electrification product lines for commercial vehicles Classes 5-8. During his 13 years at Meritor, Garcia served various global leadership roles in product development, product strategy, and business development for truck and bus drivetrains and electric powertrains. Garcia holds an Executive MBA from Michigan State University, a master’s degree in manufacturing systems from Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Universidad del Norte in Colombia.
