Tim Marquis is the senior product manager for precision agriculture analytics at John Deere. A seasoned technologist, he focuses on using AI and machine learning to create products in the John Deere Operations Center that drive profitable, sustainable outcomes for farmers.
His background is in meteorology, but he shifted his focus to agtech 10 years ago by launching products that integrate weather data into farm management platforms. Marquis holds a master’s degree in meteorology from Iowa State University and a bachelor’s degree in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
