Altair (Nasdaq: ALTR), a global technology company providing solutions in product development, high-performance computing (HPC), and data analytics, today announced it signed a new channel partner agreement for China region with Beijing Digital Insight Information Technology Co., Ltd (DIIT). Having collaborated with Altair for many years, DIIT will assume Altair’s sales responsibilities for the aerospace industry in China region.

The agreement-signing ceremony coincided with the Altair 2020 Global Experience . Altair invited representatives from DIIT to watch the opening keynote from James Scapa, Altair founder, chairman and chief executive officer. The global experience showcased the most significant update release of software in Altair’s history, introducing the latest technologies and applications of its products. After the ceremony, representatives from both Altair and DIIT further discussed the cooperation for the future.

Altair’s comprehensive, open-architecture solutions for computer-aided engineering (CAE), HPC, and data analytics, enables design and optimization for high performance, innovative, and sustainable products and processes in an increasingly connected world. In April 2012, DIIT became a reseller for Altair PBS Works™, providing better solutions in high-performance computing for customers. The new agreement not only helps each company expand its business, but also helps to accelerate China's aerospace industry, providing better services and more advanced technologies to more aerospace users.
