To learn how they are doing this, Altair partnered with CIMdata to develop and conduct a market research survey. In addition to profile information, the survey collected data that revealed respondents’ perspectives on the current and future adoption of key technologies — like artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), data analytics, high-performance and cloud computing (HPC), and Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled digital twins — across the engineering product life cycle. The survey also explored the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on production, staffing, and in-person/in-office work.
