Accelerated Die Development for Gravity Tilt Pouring Through Inspire Cast: A Case Study in Automotive Casting

This case study conducted at Shiva Tool Tech is aimed at expediting the design and fabrication process of casting dies for an automotive component cast with Aluminium AlSi7Mg via Gravity Tilt Pouring. Employing Steel HDS-H13 as the mold material, the project leveraged Inspire Cast for virtual simulation to anticipate potential defects in the die design phase.
