Altair Inspire Accelerates Locomotive Product Development

With the vigorous development of lightweighting in the locomotive industry, in addition to the application of new materials and technologies on locomotives, generative design and additive manufacturing processes have also been widely used in locomotives. Altair Inspire, as a rapid design, simulation, and optimization tool, plays a significant role in locomotive development. At the component level, it can achieve weight reduction and redesign of existing products. In the early stages of design, it can perform conceptual design based on loads.
