Application of DEM Simulation in Hazard Prevention of Tunnel and Underground Engineering

Hazards like water and mud inrush occur frequently in tunnel and underground engineering. They had become a serious problem restricting the safety construction of underground engineering. Facing this challenge, we use EDEM to simulate the construction of underground tunnel engineering and the evolution process of hazard. It not only helps us understand the mechanism of hazards but also provides guidance and recommendations for construction safety.
