CFD-DEM Simulations of Dilute Pneumatic Transport of Cohesive Dairy Powder

CFD-DEM Simulations of Dilute Pneumatic Transport of Cohesive Dairy Powder

Agglomeration of cohesive dairy powders during pneumatic transport (flight) creates issues such as deposition on pipe walls, resuspension of particles away from pipe wall, and causes blockages of stainless steel pipes.

CFD-DEM simulations can be used to study the effect of conveying parameters on agglomeration and deposition.
