DEM Simulation of Continuous Pharmaceutical Processes

This talk provides an introduction to modelling a continuous wet granulation process in Altair EDEM software. The design and operation of a twin-screw granulator is discussed and the development of a computationally efficient DEM model to capture the key behavior is described thereafter.
