This study presents an analysis of the numerical-experimental correlation of thermal runaway tests on single cells performed utilizing an Accelerating Rate Calorimeter (ARC). The experimental approach encompassed the measurement of cell parameters during the overheating.
Numerical results acquired via computational simulations were juxtaposed with experimental data to gauge the model’s accuracy. Correlation analysis unveiled a favorable concordance between predicted and observed outcomes, thus substantiating the numerical model’s efficacy in forecasting cell thermal runaway.
