PM-FlexTire is a simplified Finite Element model of tire that bridges the gap in EDEM capabilities to represent tires with realistic deformation. With the ability to model detailed tread pattern interaction with EDEM bulk material, the tire capabilities can be extended for specific applications such as stone chipping and airless tire/Tweel interaction with EDEM bulk material.
