Introducing FastenerPro by InDepth Engineering

InDepth FastenerPro is a powerful, intuitive software solution for evaluating and optimizing the Factor of Safety (FoS) across a wide range of fasteners—including bolts, rivets, pins, and spot welds—based on output from finite element analysis (FEA) of complex structures with multiple load cases.

Designed to streamline fastener validation, FastenerPro supports direct input from popular FEA solvers and adheres to industry standards including Shigley, AISC, GB, and EN. It features an integrated bolt data library, a user-friendly GUI, and robust evaluation capabilities.

Traditional fastener validation methods—such as manual calculations or basic tools—can be slow and error-prone, especially for large, multi-load-case assemblies. FastenerPro automates this process by scanning FEA output files to extract axial forces, shear forces, and bending moments for each fastener. It then computes FoS for tension, shear, slip, combined tension/slip, and combined tension/shear—across both static and dynamic loading conditions.
