Introduction to AVL Excite M

AVL EXCITE™ M is a 3D multibody structure dynamics software that considers full-flexible structures, large body motions with gyroscopic effects, and a range of couplings from simple spring-damper till advanced contacts like slider and roller bearings or gear contacts.

• Solver for Large, Flexible Structures: EXCITE M’s unique solver architecture allows the simulation of large flexible structures (large number of degrees of freedom). They also consider any gyroscopic effects.
• Advanced EHD and EHL Contact Models: EXCITE M provides physical EHD and EHL contacts (bearing, piston, gears, etc.) with outstanding model fidelity and predictability.
• NVH Application Workflow: EXCITE M provides a seamless workflow for noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) analysis from finite element (FE) models and interfaces with interfaces with Altair OptiStruct.
