Motion Analysis of Rear Suspension System of Heavy Scooter and Design of Rear Swingarm by Using Altair Inspire

The design of the rocker's arm and swingarm of the rear suspension system for a heavy scooter was conducted in this project, in which both components were expected to be manufactured by gravity casting with the cast aluminum alloy JIS ADC 12. The rear suspension system was comprised of the engine block, exhaust system, transmission system, brake system, shock absorber(s), swingarm, wheel, and tire.
