Panel Discussion: Making Students Real-World-Ready for Careers in Advanced Design, Manufacturing and Simulation

The success of numerous companies hinges upon recruiting trained students to bolster their endeavors in lightweighting and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM).   However, many universities lack adequate opportunities to fulfill this critical mission of student training. This session aims to highlight the potential achievements attainable when faculty integrate project-based learning opportunities and dedicated curricula to support student training in these domains. Additionally, we will explore best practices and tools aimed at empowering both students and faculty to achieve success in these endeavors.
