Shift Left for Reliability: Your Secret Weapon for Robust Mission-Critical Electronics

Mission critical electronics must be reliable, safe and robust. Therefore, reliability analyses should be an integral part of the design flow. Despite its crucial nature, reliability analysis is frequently sidelined in the design process, often due to disconnects between reliability departments and designers, compounded by inefficient communication methods such as spreadsheets. To address these challenges, we propose a "shift left" paradigm where reliability analyses can be done at early stages of the design - directly on the schematic. This provides full traceability and allows to identify issues early in the design. The solution will be demonstrated in the presentation.
