Altair SimSolid is structural analysis software designed specifically for rapidly changing design iterations. It eliminates geometry preparation and meshing, the two most time-consuming, and complex tasks performed in a conventional FEA. SimSolid enables the analysis of complex non-simplified CAD assemblies in seconds to minutes without meshing. In this module, we cover the structural linear capabilities of SimSolid and compute an example, which we quickly extend and contrast with another geometry variant for comparison.
