Altair SimSolid is structural analysis software designed specifically for rapidly changing design iterations. It eliminates geometry preparation and meshing, the two most time-consuming, and complex tasks performed in a conventional FEA. SimSolid enables the analysis of complex non-simplified CAD assemblies in seconds to minutes without meshing. In this module we look at details of the implementation of the SimSolid solver in Altair Inspire, which allows geometry fitting, and direct simulation with SimSolid technology in one interface.
