Validation runs indicate the accuracy of the derived CAE ready stress-strain curve by comparing the original test data against a simulated test run using Altair Radioss. Various CAE-ready specimens can be used to carry out a virtual tensile test. A good overlap of the result with the original test data would indicate an accurate data set, ready for simulation.
