WinProp for 5G Communications

5G technology will eventually result in massive growth in mobile data demand, higher data rates per user, lower latency for real-time connections, and so on. 5G will almost impact every industry! The 5G requirements shall be addressed by the usage of massive MIMO antennas for beamforming and spatial multiplexing, increased spectrum usage at higher frequencies, etc. To analyze the technology, we need fast and accurate coverage analysis and network planning solutions. WinProp is ideally suited for radio coverage planning in arbitrary scenarios, the network roll-out and optimization, the comparison of deployment concepts, the evaluation of installed antenna performance, the co-existence analysis of radio networks, and IoT deployments. This session will give an overview of WinProp’s several capabilities tackling the 5G technology.
