Within the APA, this means users can move from their Altair software environments – such as those in Altair® HyperWorks®, Altair® HyperMesh®, Altair® EDEM™, and more – directly to a 1:1 virtual representation in a XR headset. This simple workflow makes it easy to collaborate in shared, live virtual environments, even for users with no VR experience. 

Share&Viz is ideal for users in many industries, especially those that deal with complex 3D models such as the automotive, aerospace, defense, shipbuilding, and machinery industries. For instance, visual immersion in 3D data helps users identify conception errors on the virtual prototype, thus avoiding costly rework. Share&Viz also facilitates remote collaboration between different locations, improving workflows between global teams and shortening product development cycles.
