Carrier Plate Design Optimization Using Altair Inspire

Carrier Plate Design Optimization Using Altair Inspire

When designing mass production to improve quality problems and reduce the weight of window regulator parts that are difficult to standardize, Altair Inspire was applied to optimize a design. The window regulator is a device that is housed in the door of a vehicle and raises and lowers the glass. Among them, the carrier plate is a part that fixes the glass, moves along the rail, lifts and lowers the glass, and is responsible for many functions. The carrier plate has a problem in that it is difficult to standardize due to the small size of parts and various customer requirements.
