Complementing Automotive Engineering Theory with Altair Simulation Tools

Complementing Automotive Engineering Theory with Altair Simulation Tools

Presentation by Prof. Alessandro Scattina, Professor at Politecnico di Torino as part of Altair's Future.Industry 2024 conference.

In the Master’s degree program for Automotive Engineering, in some courses Altair HyperWorks tools are used for engineering simulations in examples oriented to a real vehicle design process with growing difficulties. Students benefit by being able to more competently apply powerful software tools that are used in industry by better understanding the associated theory. The exercises assigned to students in these courses involving use of Altair tools for FEM and vehicle design simulations will be shown.
