Revolutionizing Product Design with Altair: How Faraone Reduced Time to Market and Improved Quality Using Simulation and Optimization Tools

In this presentation, Gabriele Romagnoli, Chief Structural Engineer at Faraone Architetture Trasparenti, shares their success story of using Altair's simulation and optimization tools to streamline their product development process. Since 2015, Faraone has been working with Altair to design and develop components, such as balustrades, with the shortest possible time to market and testing cycles. The Faraone engineering team began the design process from scratch using simulation and optimization tools to drive the process. Through Inspire®, they were able to create a simple aluminum profile that was optimized to inspire the final design. The team then validated the design within the same software, resulting in a streamlined and efficient product development process.
