Scouting with Altair RapidMiner in FIRST Robotics

In First Robotics, scouting can be a challenging task that involves manipulating mass amounts of data from many data sources. Not only does it need to be done quickly, but it also needs to be done accurately because of the effects it can have on choosing competition partners that will determine the outcome of playoff matches. Altair RapidMiner can be used to efficiently complete all tasks needed, and due to its no-code/low-code environment, students can quickly pick it up and begin performing operations on their scouting data within limited time. This presentation will cover how Team 3604 the Goon Squad was able to leverage RapidMiner during their 2023 season.
