Since 2004 Astec has used EDEM to innovate and optimize creating more reliable and efficient equipment, improved customer profitability, and increased sustainability. Over the years advances in hardware and software have permitted greater depth of exploration especially in the areas of fluid coupling and multi-physics. In this talk we will describe our journey with EDEM, the current state, and where challenges remain.
