Design of a Peak Current Mode Converter with PSIM

Design of a Peak Current Mode Converter with PSIM

This will webinar covers the design of a boost converter with peak current mode control, PCMC. An open loop boost is the starting point and a closed voltage loop is the end point of this process. The voltage loop is being designed with digital control so that it can be implemented on a C2000 piccolo processor with PSIM's automated embedded code generation. A Typhoon HIL simulation is being used to verify the generated code in a real-time simulation of the power stage with implemented code.

The same techniques will be applicable to most other PCMC applications.

Additional Hardware used: Typhoon HIL 600 F28069 ControlCard
